Improvisation
Improvisation is a major part of tango. It shows that tango is a conversation that is occuring between the man and the woman, each expressing what they feel at the moment.

All of our performances are improvised, not choreographed. We choose the song a couple of minutes before we step on the floor and then dance what we feel. We feed off each other's energy, the crowd's energy, and the music's energy.

Music
A "tanda" is a set of 4 songs grouped by rhythm, orchestra, and time period. For example, 4 tangos by the D'Arienzo orchestra recorded in 1942 might be grouped into a tanda. Here are some tandas for downloading:
